Looking forward

January 13, 2019 / Jennifer Mapleson / Leave a comment

2019 is well and truly settled in now and I've taken some time to think about what I might want for this year. Many people in my parts of the internet decide on a word for their year and/or the 19 things they'll do in 2019. I'll admit I had a go at both of … Continue reading Looking forward

Been working on the pool for a week or so and it is so close to being ready! Yay! Couldn’t resist putting my feet in after today’s scorcher. Nikita also happy 🐶 #pool #perthsummer #rescuedogsofinstagram #almostholidays
Saturday am. Book. Dog. Doona. Couch. ❤️
Me (16) and my Pappy and me and my dad. Both photos taken in the backyard of the house I’ve been visiting since I was born. Sad to think this will be my last visit as dad and stepmum are moving this week. A few other random photos of little memories 💞
Nikita behind her new gate that will help keep her contained when people come over! (Her ‘special skill’ is highly developed resource defence 😂) So now people can come over! Yay! #sunday #rescuedogsofinstagram
I finished this wonderful novel this weekend. Such an searing, beautifully told story. ‘My Place’ had a profound effect on me when I was a kid and this one is a strong contender for teaching to students next year. #teachersofinstagram #amreading
A snap from just now. Saturday free after weeks of novel-uni-marking-new job fog. I feel as though I’m swimming to the surface finally. The trick will be to actually REST because the to do list has not disappeared, only the urgent-must-do list. Happy Saturday all! #teachersofinstagram #uni #writersofinstagram #saturdaymorning #perthsummer
